We have overcome the world – it is settled. The world system, kosmos, the spirit of this present age is no match for our overcoming faith that is Spirit-birthed and Spirit-Empowered. How do we practically overcome this present evil world?
By the Blood! Why the Blood? The Bible tells us that the “life is in the blood” as well that “every soul that sins must die.” The vicarious death of Christ, Him giving His Life for us, broke the power of sin and all that comes with it in the life of the believer. This is why the Bible tells us that we “overcame…by the blood of the Lamb…” There is power in the Blood! Power to overcome!
